This role manages care for patients needing preventive care and chronic disease management as identified through the EMR within the Providence Clinical Network. Responsibilities include ordering lab tests or imaging exams for screenings, managing preventive care, and optimizing chronic disease treatments as guided by the PCN Clinical Council. This role ensures coordinated patient care, acting as a liaison between providers, primary care clinics, specialists, patients, and various departments and services within Providence St Joseph Health.

This role performs all duties in a manner that promotes team concept and reflects the Sisters of Providence's mission and philosophy.

  • Washington: Renton


Required Qualifications:

  • Coursework/Training: Graduate of an accredited school for medical assistants or equivalent educ/experience
  • Upon hire: Washington Medical Assistant Certification
  • 3 or more years of medical assisting work experience in primary/specialty care setting

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare related field
  • Upon hire: Active National Medical Assistant Certification through a nationally recognized Medical Assistant program such as AAMA, AMT, RMA, CCMA or NCCT
