We are hiring full time Utilization Review Coordinator to join our team. This position is Monday – Friday and remote.
Wellfound Behavioral Health Hospital is a 120-bed inpatient psychiatric hospital located in Tacoma, Washington. We are Department of Health and Joint Commission accredited. We are an acute care psychiatric hospital providing care to both voluntary and involuntary patients.

Position information:
The Utilization Review (UR) Coordinator will direct and oversee the Utilization Review Program for Inpatient services. This includes the implementation of case management scenarios, consulting with all services to ensure the provision of an effective treatment plan for all patients, oversees the response to requests for services and interfaces with managed care organizations, external reviewers, and other players.

- Paid Time Off - You will accrue Paid Sick and Safe Leave at 1 hour per 40 hours worked. Paid Sick leave cannot be used until 90 days after your hire date.
- Paid Time Off will be accrued based on hours worked and tenure. You will accrue 0.12 hours of PTO per hours worked until you reach the next level of accrual. PTO cannot be used until 90 days after your hire date with the exception of designated Wellfound holidays.
What We Require:
Education:
- Degree in nursing, social work, mental health/behavioral sciences or related field
Certification:
- Licensed Practical Nurse, Registered Nurse, Social Worker, Mental Health Professional preferred
Work Experience:
- A minimum of three (3) years direct clinical experience in a psychiatric or mental health treatment setting, including one year of managing a related function preferred. Experience in patient assessment, family motivation, treatment planning and communication with external review organizations or comparable entities.
